ABOUT

I’m a nonprofit leader, educator, and speaker, helping organizations be better at doing good.

Drawing from both academic and hands-on experience, I founded Girls in Gear, a national nonprofit helping young girls to build self-confidence through biking. Under my leadership, Girls in Gear has grown exponentially, increasing its budget by 150% year-over-year through strategic planning, effective fiscal management, and innovative program design.

As a full-time faculty member at Seton Hall University, I have the privilege of teaching the next generation of nonprofit leaders. This dual role - educator and practitioner - allows me to approach consulting with a comprehensive understanding of the nonprofit sector. I focus on developing tailored strategies that align with each organization’s mission and needs, helping them achieve sustainable growth. I specialize in building and launching new nonprofits, board development, volunteer management, and program development, creating scalable infrastructures that ensure long-term success.

I earned my PhD in public administration from Rutgers University, my Master of Science in nonprofit management from Columbia University, and my Bachelor of the Arts from Rutgers University. My contributions have been recognized by Rutgers University, U.S. Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College, and Girls on the Run International.
